Deborah Kuehner
Deborah Kuehner is passionate about bringing healing to broken and hurting people. When people experience severe trauma and life becomes unmanageable, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. Through her work at The Potter’s Hands Foundation, as their Founder and Executive Director, she has the opportunity to see broken lives restored. Her educational experience includes a Bachelor’s of Social Work Degree from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA. and a Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from Elmira College. Deborah has thirty years of experience working with youth, adults, and youth at risk through a variety of programs and ministries. In 2012, after teaching for 15 years, she felt called to help women who have been sexually exploited. She founded The Potter’s Hands Foundation in 2013 and has been working toward creating awareness and building a safe house/residential home for these women since that time. In January of 2018, the home opened and they transitioned from a counseling and mentoring program with survivors of sex trafficking to a residential program where they can serve up to 12 women at a time.
